Tuning

Tuning’s tricky work.  Here’s the thing though: if we sing in tune with each other, we sound good up close or from afar.  We can even throw on some funk with perfect thirds sometimes.  Imagine: the human voice sounding as good as it possibly can through the application of discipline, smarts and musicianship.

Oh, and everyone in the world should hear a perfectly-tuned major chord just once.

We’re now begging for your donations the old-fashioned way!  Fundable.com has turned out to be a dubious route; donations may be mailed to 140 Avon St., Malden, MA, or sent by paypal to fujitchoir@gmail.com.  Any little bit helps!

We have an offer open for our second concert series in February, the weekend before Ash Wednesday.  So it looks like the second series will be on and about the Feast of Sts. Cyril and Methodius, popularly known as Two Days After Lincoln’s Birthday.  Program?  Machaut, Martin, Earl Kim?  Maybe some Brahms?

Good music is more fun.

Excellent music brilliantly performed is still more fun.
