Tuning

Tuning’s tricky work.  Here’s the thing though: if we sing in tune with each other, we sound good up close or from afar.  We can even throw on some funk with perfect thirds sometimes.  Imagine: the human voice sounding as good as it possibly can through the application of discipline, smarts and musicianship.

Oh, and everyone in the world should hear a perfectly-tuned major chord just once.

Is VD weekend really all that bad a time?

We have an offer open for our second concert series in February, the weekend before Ash Wednesday.  So it looks like the second series will be on and about the Feast of Sts. Cyril and Methodius, popularly known as Two Days After Lincoln’s Birthday.  Program?  Machaut, Martin, Earl Kim?  Maybe some Brahms?

First Concert Dates

It looks like the first concert dates are settled for November 14 and 15, the first on the North Shore and the second at Church of Our Saviour in Brookline.  Exciting things are coming!
