Many thanks!!!

Concerts
•October 26, 2009 • Leave a CommentConcerts should be beautiful entertainments. We are musicians hoping to contribute beauty to the world, and to make someone’s day better for hearing us sing. We are not high priests of CVLTVRE but people who enjoy making wonderful things happen.
That said, please come hear us! November 14, 7 PM, Newburyport, MA, at the First Religious Society. November 15, 3PM, Church of Our Saviour, Brookline, MA.
Johann Sebastian Bach’s Lobet den Herrn
Antoine Busnoys’ Missa L’homme Armé
Ralph Vaughan Williams Mass in G minor
Heitor Villa-Lobos Bendita Sabedoria
…maybe in that order.
Admission is by suggested donations:
$20 adult
$15 student/senior
$10 starving artists
$50 families
I made it to the bank. Therefore… cheques may be made out to Joshua Slater, or to Fujit.
Directions to First Religious Society, Newburyport
•October 26, 2009 • 1 CommentAs requested. . .
Nov. 14 in Newburyport, MA, at 7PM, fujit debuts.
The best way to Newburyport from North or South is via I-95; those coming from NH are best off taking Rt. 101 South.
From exit 57, follow High St. (Rt. 113) and follow Rt. 113 into Newburyport; turn left on Green St. and follow that to Merrimac St.; turn right on Merrimac, take an immediate right into a large parking lot, and you’ll be behind the church.

November 15 is a definite!!!!
•October 13, 2009 • Leave a Comment3PM, Church of Our Saviour, 25 Monmouth St., Brookline, MA 02446.
If anyone ever returns a phone call, I’ll let you know where we’ll be performing the day before. . .
Tuning
•August 30, 2009 • Leave a CommentTuning’s tricky work. Here’s the thing though: if we sing in tune with each other, we sound good up close or from afar. We can even throw on some funk with perfect thirds sometimes. Imagine: the human voice sounding as good as it possibly can through the application of discipline, smarts and musicianship.
Oh, and everyone in the world should hear a perfectly-tuned major chord just once.
Fundraising
•August 22, 2009 • Leave a CommentWe’re now begging for your donations the old-fashioned way! Fundable.com has turned out to be a dubious route; donations may be mailed to 140 Avon St., Malden, MA, or sent by paypal to fujitchoir@gmail.com. Any little bit helps!
Is VD weekend really all that bad a time?
•August 18, 2009 • Leave a CommentWe have an offer open for our second concert series in February, the weekend before Ash Wednesday. So it looks like the second series will be on and about the Feast of Sts. Cyril and Methodius, popularly known as Two Days After Lincoln’s Birthday. Program? Machaut, Martin, Earl Kim? Maybe some Brahms?
